​What to Expect:

1. There will be VIP parking.​ You can enter the church from Griffin Road or Powell and there will be spots available for first time guests right by the main entrance. 
 
2. You can dress comfortably. People will be dressed however they feel most comfortable. Some dress up, many dress casually. We care more about you than what you wear.
 
3. You will be greeted with a smile. We call ourselves a family. So when you come you will be treated as such. We will also have coffee in the lobby before the service.

4. There will be a place for your children. When you walk into the church, the Kids' Community check-in area will be on your right. Please head over there where one of our volunteers will be ready to help you get your kids checked in and answer any questions you may have.

5. We will sing, pray, and study God’s Word together. When the service starts, we will be led by a praise band in singing both uplifting hymns of the faith and modern songs with words projected on the front walls so you don’t feel left out. We will pray together, and we will have a time of teaching from God’s Word from one of the pastors about how God’s message relates to us today.
 
6. We will be done in about an hour.

Family: My beautiful bride Sarah and I met in 2010, married in 2012, and somehow she still hasn't grown tired of me. We have 4 good-looking and determined kids named Norah, Asher, Theodore, and Lucy!

Passion: I am passionate about finding freedom for myself and for others, and I'm convinced that true freedom is only found in Christ!

Hobbies: Hiking, biking, camping, everything outdoors;  and nerdy things like learning about technology, video games, and reading!

Life verse: Mark 12:30 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength"

Associate Pastor:

Family:  Beth and I have been married since 1964. We have two daughters, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson. 
 
Passion: I am passionate about the Word of God: studying it, sharing it, and teaching its truths. 
 
Hobbies: I enjoy reading, especially historical novels and history non-fiction.  Also, I like classical music, folk music, and Christian music, especially the old hymns and praise choruses. I like watching college sports; UK basketball is a lifelong favorite. 
 
Life verses: Phil 3: 13-14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do: forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God In Christ Jesus.”

​Family: My wife Laura and I have been married since 2011. We have 3 daughters and our youngest is a boy (pray for him!): Letta, Remi, Tessa, and Jude

Passion: I am passionate about beautiful music that glorifies our triune God. Music has been my life since I was 5 years old (thanks Mom and Dad!).

Hobbies: Laura and I love the water and camping. Catch us outside. How 'bout dat. I love music and sports... a lot! You also might catch me smoking meat on the weekends.

Life Verses: Psalms 15:1-2 "O LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, and speaks truth in his heart."

Family:  My wife Caitlyn and I have been married for 12 years. We have four children: Finleigh, Clive, Lyla, and Millie. Caitlyn and I are both from Louisiana and met each other while attending Louisiana State University. We have lived in the Springhill/Brooksville area since 2020 and have loved it.

Passion: I have a passion for biblical literacy and theological depth. Beyond that, I value engagement in relationships and will always encourage joining in on the fun.

Hobbies: I love fishing and playing sports (especially basketball and ultimate frisbee). I will always route from my hometown teams (Saints and LSU Tigers). And I am pretty open to just having a good time.

Life Verses: Romans 1:16-17 " For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes… For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Family: My beautiful wife Desyre and I met at the young adult group at Community Bible Church. You can often find us acting crazy with the youth kids or dominating them in ultimate frisbee! 

Passion: I have a passion for seeing others grow in Christ and defend the faith. Encouraging the ability to communicate what we believe, but also why we believe it. 

Hobbies: You can catch me juggling knives and riding unicycles on my free time! Beyond that I love mixed martial arts, hanging out with friends, and chilling with my dog! I'm down to have a good time! 

Life verses: Philippians 2:9-11 “Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Community Bible Church exists to gather GOD'S PEOPLE around GOD'S WORD equipping them to fulfill GOD'S MISSION of making disciples. 

What We Believe

1. We believe that “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God.”

2. We believe that the godhead eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

3. We believe that man, originally created in the image and after the likeness of God, fell from his high and holy estate. 

4. We believe that this spiritual death, or total corruption of human nature, has been transmitted to the entire race of man, the man Christ Jesus alone excepted.

5. We believe that, owing to this universal depravity and death in sin, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again.

6. We believe that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was made to be sin, and made a curse for us, dying in our room and stead.

7. We believe that Christ, in the fullness of the blessings He has secured by His obedience unto death, is received by faith alone, and that the moment we trust in Him as our Savior we pass out of death into everlasting life.

8. We believe that it is the privilege not only of some, but of all who are born again by the Spirit through faith in Christ as revealed in the Scriptures, to be assured of their salvation from the very day they take Him to be their Savior.

9. We believe that all the Scriptures from first to last, center about our Lord Jesus Christ, in His person and work, in His first and second coming.

10. We believe that the church is composed of all who are united by the Holy Spirit to the risen and ascended Son of God.

11. We believe that the Holy spirit, not as an influence, but as a divine person.

12. We believe that we are called with a holy calling, to walk, not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

13. We believe that the souls of those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation do at death immediately pass into His presence.

14. We believe that the world will not be converted during the present dispensation, but is fast ripening for judgment, while there will be a fearful apostasy in the professing Christian body.

15. We believe that the Lord Jesus instituted the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s supper.

16. We recognize the gift ministry of the Holy Spirit to the church, but reject the claim that any outward sign manifestation is essential to the baptism (into the body) or the filling (control) ministry of the Spirit.
